Celebrating 250 Years!
On July 4, 2026, the United States of America will celebrate 250 years since the end of the Revolutionary War and the adoption of the Declaration of Independence. That war was won because of the convictions of men who were willing to die rather than be tied to the Monarchy that their ancestors had fled.
The miracle of the USA has become a point of contention in recent years. The denial of the intervention by a Holy God has made it necessary for many citizens to deny the providential existence and the unprecedented success of this exceptional nation.
As a Christian, I have no problem accepting the fact that all that the USA has become and all that the USA has overcome as a nation is found in the faith filled prayers of those who left everything behind to take the arduous journey across the sea to seek freedom!
According to Dictionary.com, the word Pious refers to “having or showing a dutiful spirit of reverence for God or an earnest wish to fulfill religious obligations.” A patriot is “a person who loves, supports, and defends their country and its interests with devotion.”
There is no shame in loving God and loving your country!
In honor of this historic milestone, Memory Mugs & More will be adding a new collection with a patriotic theme. Our first few products will feature the blessing from Psalms 33:12.
